About Will Rossi​

I am a game designer and 3D artist with a BA in Game Design from Columbia College Chicago and an MA in Interaction Design. During my thesis I focused on user interaction in augmented reality (AR) and how to better facilitate user interaction inside it. As the co-founder of BackSlash Games, I helped bring Kakatte Koi Yo! to life, launching it on multiple platforms with over 2,700 wishlists on Steam. This experience taught me the importance of creative collaboration and solidified my passion for developing engaging gameplay experiences.

 With a strong foundation in systems design, gameplay mechanics, and 3D asset creation, I am well-versed in industry-standard tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Maya, and Substance Designer/Painter. I thrive in both independent and team settings, whether building immersive games or streaming as a part-time Twitch broadcaster, where I analyze and articulate design choices from both a player and developer perspective. I am continuously driven by a desire to innovate and create memorable, impactful experiences.
